TOUR DE INDEPENDENTS

Our very own Chief Executive and Co-Founder, Craig, is adventuring off on his ‘TOUR DE INDEPENDENTS’; a 300+km bike ride across the North of England to help us Build Our Future.

Craig will be making this 2.5-day venture across the country, (loosely) between Leeds-Manchester-Liverpool-Birkenhead, stopping to say hello to over 40 grassroots music venues on his travels. As well as those major cities, Craig will visit smaller towns and villages, highlighting venues that are vital to their regional music and creative cultures, further demonstrating just how important it is to keep building the futures of your local music spaces.

Craig, himself, stated:

“I love grassroots music venues (evidently!) and I love escaping on my bike, so two and half days exploring the best music venues between Leeds and Birkenhead sounds like my idea of type-2 fun!”

TOUR DE INDEPENDENTS is all about celebrating the collective power of grassroots music venues in our local communities, in all their beautiful idiosyncrasy. 

ALL funds raised will directly support Future Yard’s BUILD OUR FUTURE campaign, championing grassroots music and nurturing the next generation of talent through the creation of our very own FUTURE YARD 2.0.
